Every year we take the peas to pick their pumpkins at Circle S Farms and it was wonderful and fun! This year we chose to go out and see what other adventures we could get into. We wanted something bigger for our growing peas and boy did we find our new spot! Pigeon Roost Farms in Hebron Ohio, yes it was a bit of a drive but not too bad and after posting we went there on Facebook I saw a ton of friends follow and they had a blast too!

The day we planned to go was an awful rainy day but we figured it may stop by the time we got there so lets go! The girls wore their costumes (something Circle S doesn’t allow for some reason) because it was kids day and they encouraged it the girls LOVED that and so did I finally getting to wear costumes more than once is great.
Once we got there I was in awe I love crafty things and they had several barns just packed with things to enjoy and buy if you wanted too. But that had to wait….the peas and Dad of Two Peas were there for one thing….The Great Pumpkin Fun Center!
So big they had a map! What to do first??
Well to get down to where we needed to be …
Py and Phoebe decided to go the fun route…
Did I mention it was rainy?
Once they slid on down they ran to see the farm animals goats, chickens and rabbits OH MY!
More chickens …Phoebe wanted to get IN the coop for a closer look when that didn’t happen she ran off to the enchanted forest !
Now this was going to be interesting what enchantments did this forest hold??
Just all thing fun! With a little warning we are in the forest after all BIGFOOT !
Py spotted the first thing and took off running ….”NO RUNNING”! But you can rope walk (-: Phoebe chickened out no farm pun intended (:
Phoebe then took off….”NO RUNNING”! But how could she not look at this thing!
The rain had pretty much just stayed an annoying mist and the trees kept up pretty dry in there not to mention they had so much to do.
We even had photo ops EVERYWHERE so this was one camera happy Mom
MORE for Mommy!
Look who we found !
After walking around and finding more and more we decided to leave the forest and see what else there was it was a fun center after all. Spook Straw Tunnel anyone??
Just Pyper (-:
Phoebe found the corn pit
then Dad found something and it was all over from there!
GERBIL WHEELS!
These were so much fun I had to bribe them to let other kids play!
It took awhile …..
They had these…
Little pea would not give up until she got on one!
It didn’t last long LOL!
We decided to take our hayride next….BUT not before this!
Spin your partner round and round! Do Si Do !
HEHE Not sure if I am prepared if this one is driving the hayride!
Hayride ready! So was the rain….
On the hayride we were able to see all the pumpkins, and the whole farm land and heard the history of the farm (they raise honey bees and make their own pumpkin honey!) it was wonderful even on a rainy day. Hey Py let me get your picture…what is it Mom? Oh you’ll see!
“MOMMY!” We cried we laughed so hard I am very grateful to have kids with a sense of humor!
It was raining harder and I just wanted to get to the craft barns….but there was no stopping this Pea crew!
Could not walk past something without trying it!
At least they were dry in there!
We even learned some things too! (not just on the hayride)
We had to skip the ginormous Corn Maze this year just too long and the rain was getting cold, but this year HECK YEAH we are doing it! Who knows what it will look like in 2014, 2013 was the Aliens Among Us…SO COOL!
Now can we please get to the barns!
I love this stuff, they had barns filled all over the place!
Phoebe was “caught” by one of the nicest employees for wearing her costume and got a ticket for a free pumpkin!
Of course sissy had to run over too (:
But not before we hit more barns! We looked for bats but saw none….
What we did see was ..AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAA! Oh it’s just you Peas…shoooo!
We saw some of the honey bees pretty cool!
And the honey ***big cheesy grin***
We saw so much I couldn’t even begin to describe it all so off to pick our pumpkins…”Grab a wagon Daddy!”
there is always that one guy!
Yep HAHA
Coolest pumpkin tree ever!
We had such a great time we can not wait to go again when the weather is perfect!
Until then we will flute our way home !
